Introduced by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, the Rotondella cultivar is an olive variety from Mont Picentini.

Organically grown, its aroma of green fruits, of artichoke, its bitterness and slightly spicy aftertaste, make this monocultivar a vivacious oil of excellent quality.

Harvested in the Salerno hills very early in the season, the Rotondella is extracted within 6 hours using the family frantoio before being cold filtered to reconstruct the freshness of this ancient variety of olive.
